We were delighted to enjoy a very productive and enjoyable afternoon in our school garden today as the children took part in planting a wonderful variety of crops in our polytunnel.
Over the past number of weeks, the children have carefully nurtured their plants from seeds, and it was fantastic to see their hard work come to life. During this session, they planted strawberries, onions, lettuce, beans, and tomatoes, all grown from the seeds they had sown themselves.
Our school polytunnel is now looking vibrant, full of life, and bursting with growth. It is a real testament to the children’s dedication, care, and enthusiasm for gardening.
Be sure to take a look at the photos included to see the children in action and the fantastic progress they have made. We are very proud of their efforts and look forward to watching the plants continue to flourish in the weeks ahead.
