First day back in the Senior room

A Lovely First Day Back in the Senior Room!

We had a wonderful first day back in the Senior Room and were delighted to welcome Nonie, Oliver and Rían into 3rd Class.

We began with a Skittles “Get to Know You” game. Working with partners, the children chatted about their favourite colours, foods, television programmes and pets. Next, we had great fun completing a “Get to Know Your Teacher” quiz. Well done to Rían, who knew his teacher the best!

For English, the children wrote reflections about their hopes and goals for the year ahead. We also learned what STEM means before taking part in the exciting “Save Fred” challenge. Everyone worked together to rescue Fred from drowning using teamwork, problem-solving and lots of creative thinking!

We finished our busy day with a short walk. It was a lovely first day back, and we are looking forward to a happy and exciting year together!
